Can you share the vision and mission of our business fraternity and how it aligns with your personal and professional goals?
"Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community. The line “to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce” aligns with my personal and professional goals the most because Delta Sigma Pi has helped grow and develop my network vastly. Through the fraternity, I have had the opportunity to connect with brothers from other chapters, alumni, and faculty at CSUF. This has enabled me to grow and learn from experts in the business field as well as prepare myself for my full-time job upon graduation."
In what ways does the fraternity foster leadership development and provide opportunities for members to grow?
"The fraternity fosters leadership development through our Executive Committee and Directors. Every semester, brothers have the opportunity to run for elected positions and potentially spearhead various elements of our chapter, such as marketing and finance. We also hold various events that help brothers grow both personally and professionally. This includes community service engagement events with local non-profits, professional workshops to fine-tune their resumes, and brotherhood events to strengthen relationships and community within the chapter."
What legacy do you hope to leave as President, and how would you like to see the fraternity evolve in the future?
"As President, I hope to empower the brothers and aid in their development as future business leaders. I hope to see the fraternity blossom into an environment where brothers can rely on one another and feel confident transitioning into the business world upon graduation. Overall, I believe it is important to foster an environment where brothers feel comfortable developing their skills while having fun at the same time."
